Antique 1919 Signed Men's Cabinet Portrait Photo - Raleigh, North Carolina Interest

This is a compelling, authentic original antique photographic portrait folder dating exactly to October 10, 1919. The photograph features an elegant profile studio portrait of a handsome gentleman sporting a classic period high-collared shirt, dark tie, and wool suit jacket.

The photograph is housed inside its original Art Nouveau style tri-fold cardboard presentation folder. The front exterior features a beautifully debossed organic floral pattern.

Most notably, the inside folder matting includes a prominent, beautifully clear handwritten ink inscription that reads:

"To my friend T.A. Tompson / From J.H. Daniels / Raleigh, N.C. / October 10, 1919"

Condition: Good. The silver-toned photograph print itself is crisp with great contrast and minimal fading. The cardboard presentation folder shows typical age-appropriate wear, including corner/edge fraying, mild surface scuffs, and natural browning/spotting (patina). The fold-out flaps remain completely attached and intact.
